Constructed
wetlands can be used to treat a variety of waste streams including
domestic or industrial wastewater and sewage, agricultural runoff,
stormwater runoff, and landfill leachate. The advantages of this
natural treatment are numerous, including lower construction, operation,
and maintenance costs, chemical free treatment, plus aesthetic and,
in some situations, wildlife habitat values.
Principal Geoff
Sainty and his staff and associates have extensive experience in
the design, construction and management of free water surface and
sub-surface wetland systems that "work" and have lower
on-going maintenance costs. We have a total catchment management
approach that incorporates appropriate use of wetlands and other
structural and non-structural technologies within the catchment.
